Our Story
The Gandhi-King Center for Nonviolence is dedicated to promoting principles of nonviolence inspired by Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. In 2023, Dr. Oroszi, along with Drs. Ellis and Polkinghorn, toured India with Tushar Gandhi, Mahatma Gandhi's great grandson. Following a personal loss, Tushar collaborated with Dr Oroszi to revive the Season for Nonviolence, leading to a successful event in Dayton, OH in 2024. With aspirations to take this initiative global, the nonprofit was established to further the mission of nonence and community engagement, gearing up for an inspiring Season for Nonviolence in 2025.
