My Ministry and Community Work:

For nearly 40 years, I have served in the Christian ministry, pastoring congregations and working tirelessly to uplift communities. I have been an active member of the Ohio Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Commission since its inception in 1985, and I represent the state of Ohio on the National Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Advisory Committee in Atlanta, Georgia. My commitment to service extends beyond the church walls, as I've held numerous leadership roles in organizations like the Columbus Baptist Pastors Conference, the National Action Network Columbus Chapter, and the Baptist Housing Alliance of Ohio.

The Gandhi-King Center for Nonviolence resonates deeply with my own values and aspirations for a more peaceful world. The Center's work in promoting nonviolence, conflict resolution, and positive change aligns perfectly with my lifelong dedication to service and community building.

I firmly believe in the power of faith, love, and nonviolence to transform individuals and communities. Everyone has the potential to make a difference, and together, we can build a world where peace and justice prevail.

My Professional Journey:

My journey has been one of service, both within the church and in the broader community. From pastoring congregations to serving as a chaplain for the Gahanna Police Department, I have sought to be a beacon of hope and support for those around me. My background in accounting and my experience working at UPS have provided me with valuable skills that I utilize in my various roles.
